The sauna is open from 5-7 pm, kind of weird hours. We went to the Internet bar and spent time there trying to get on-line. Finally did and then we were hoping to have enough time to hit the sauna. We were back by 6:30, but Eddie, our hosts husband said "no problem". I only wish I hadn't spent the last couple hours rushing and feeling more relaxed to get into the experience. Wow, was it great! We walk in and the rooms are all lit by small lights or candles, soft, quiet music playing in the background, and a smell of something I could never put my finger on, but wonderful. We went into the first dry sauna, then moved on to the steam sauna, then to the shower that had a rain shower head and heads that shot out at the side. Then if you hit a button you get a mist of water coupled with another aroma. Then you dry off with towels and walk into the relax room. There is bottled water and one area of leather couches followed by another room with lounge chairs. There are blankets you cover yourself with and a "fire- fake, but nice" and again that same aroma and music/lighting. It was really, really wonderful! We were the only people there, so still don't understand the clothes or not. We brought our suits, so that is what we did.
Oh...big regret...why didn't we do this every night? It is for health reasons, only! Now we are off to get more pizza, and they stop serving dinner at 11:30, so we better get going! I'll have to add more Digestives tonight to get a full health benefit!
