Last day in Verona

We spent our last day touring the churches of Verona, viewing all the art work, seeing them get ready for weddings, and just enjoying the city.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner down a little ally where we were offered horse, donkey, rabbit and other interesting cuisine. Monte ate the rabbit, I had fish, and Paige had pasta with seafood: crayfish, squid, shrimp with the whole body, clams, mussels, etc. It was very good! A very nice meal, a special treat in the ancient city.

This is a local drink from the Veneto. It tasted like a bitter wine cooler. But, we have to try the local food!

It was sad to leave our "home" and Marco, who we grew to love. He thinks many things are " is Fantastic!" a great guy.
