Paige has noticed there are roses blooming all over France and flowers everywhere. True, but not in this picture.
We just stopped at a rest stop on the highway. They are set up so nice with a playground, forest with picnic areas and even music playing in the bathroom. Some even have restaurants and gas stations because once you are on the highway there are not that many exits. I don't think people drive these highways unless they are going very far, otherwise they drive the country roads. At this stop....best thing....a flush toliet! We have only come across two of the old "hole in the floor" kind. But, those can be fun just to see how good an aim you are!
Our toll for 2 1/2 hour drive was about $35! Luckily, we only had to do this once.
We stayed in Egusheim for the night. Monte got a nap and Paige and I explored the town and got ice cream. This village is so pretty, one of the cutest on the ""Route du Vin".
