Page Arizona

We woke early and set out for Horseshoe bend. We got there before 7 am and there were only a few people out so early. It was amazing!! People got up right to the edge, but not us! It made me so nervous. We talked to a guy who lost his camera over the edge, made me wonder how many people are lost, too!

Our slot canyon tour was cancelled due to the threat of flash flooding. We rebooked it but it was canceled for Monday, too. Oh well! We took a drive along Lake Powell and stopped to take photographs all along the way. Just beautiful!!

It is so interesting that there are more foreigners here than nationals! So it seems. Yet, we hear little of this area.

Off to Byrce Canyon tomorrow, but we are taking a long morning in Page hoping to avoid the snow in Byrce. We did enough of that already!

This is truly an amazing place.....and this was only our first full day!
