Byrce Canyon

Yesterday we drove from Page to Byrce Canyon. A beautiful drive the whole way. So many colors and textures to the landscape that we couldn't stop taking pictures. After about 5 hours we arrived to the rim on the Canyon. It was stunning, and very cold. We had only about 10 minutes before rain, then it turned to snow. It became too cold and wet so we called it a day.

The next morning we headed out early even though the forecast called for very cold temps, around 30 with a high of about 35 for the day. Suprisingly, we hiked and pealed off clothes all the way down to the canyon floor. Truly amazing!!

After a full day of hiking we were not quite ready to call it a day.  We decided to take to drive to Kodachrome Basin State Park in Kanab.  Again, so beautiful!!
