Lots of everything!

We went snorkeling everyday, to the pool to chill out, morning walks and nightly sunsets, we had fabulous food, lots of laughs, amazing sites and beauty surrounding us!  What an amazing vacation!  Thanks Pat and Sofija!!

Napali Coast

We all know how much Monte is a water person, Pat and Sofija, too!  So, I think this was their highlight!  It was beautiful, but I also get sea sick so I was apprehensive about how the day might go. I did take dramamine, and turned out I was ok!

We had dolphins in front of the boat following with us for miles!  It was so cool to be only a couple feet from them.  I wasn't nimble enough to get photos while laying on the front of the boat!  But, it was truly amazing site to see!  

On the way back, our captain suddenly stopped the boat and called everyone over to see something in the water.  It was something she hadn't seen before.  Turns out it was a huge whale shark!  Probably can't see it in the photo, but it is there.

And of course, another great dinner, and ice cream!

Wailia Canyon

When searching for great things to do in Kauai, besides snorkeling, seeing the sunset, taking walks, all of which we did daily, we found the Waimea Canyon!  This was at the top of my list of things to do.  I love mountains and had heard it was gorgeous.  I was not disappointed!!

Coastal Bike Ride

We took a bike ride along the coast.  Again, every view is breathtaking!  We had to keep stopping just to take it all in.  When the trip was all said and done, I think this was our favorite day!

Kauai Coffee Plantation

We decided to see and taste at the Kauai Coffee Plantation.  They had many different coffee's to try and we all know who loves coffee!  We all do, but of course Monte is the expert and we tested him on his knowledge of beans.
